CTET Prep — Privacy Policy & Data Deletion

This page explains how the CTET Prep mobile application ("the App"), published by Codeymon ("we", "us", "our"), handles your information, and how you can request deletion of your data. If you have any questions, contact us at zooscribe@gmail.com.

1. Information We Collect

The App works fully offline and does not require you to create an account or log in. You can use mock tests, practice, and quizzes without providing any personal information.

Optionally, during onboarding you may choose to provide your name and email address so your progress can be associated with you across sessions. Providing these is entirely optional.

2. Advertising

The App displays ads through Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and use your device's advertising identifier and related information to serve and measure ads. For details, see Google's Privacy Policy at policies.google.com/privacy. You can reset or limit your advertising ID in your device settings.

3. How We Use Your Information

To save and sync your test progress and results
To show your performance analytics (accuracy, streaks, score trends)
To display advertising that supports the free App
To understand usage and improve the App

4. Data Storage & Security

Progress is stored locally on your device. If you provide a name or email, that information and your usage sessions are stored securely using Supabase, and all data is transmitted over encrypted (HTTPS/TLS) connections. Access to your cloud data is restricted to your own records. We take reasonable measures to protect your information.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share your device advertising identifier with Google AdMob solely for advertising purposes, as described in Section 2. We do not share your name, email, or test activity with third parties.

6. How to Request Data Deletion

Delete your data — CTET Prep (Codeymon)

In the App (recommended, instant):

Open CTET Prep
Go to Settings
Tap Delete my data
Confirm. This erases your profile, history, and progress.

By email (alternative): Send a request to zooscribe@gmail.com with the subject "CTET Prep data deletion request" from the email address associated with your data. We will process the request within 30 days.

What is deleted

Your name and email address (if provided)
Your cloud profile and usage-session records
Your test attempts, scores, history, and progress stored on the device

What is kept, and retention

Deletion is immediate for on-device data and processed promptly for cloud data (within 30 days of an email request). We do not retain a separate copy of your personal data after deletion. Note that anonymised, aggregated statistics that cannot identify you, and standard advertising data handled by Google AdMob under Google's own policies, are outside the scope of this deletion.

7. Children's Privacy

The App is intended for users aged 18 and over (teacher-eligibility exam aspirants) and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
